patriotic songs for his community. For the six months following the attacks, Jim showed his patriotism by playing
The Star-Spangled Banner in front of his home every night, garnering attention from neighbors, community, and the

passages. Rev. George C. Anderson of Second Presbyterian Church
in Roanoke, VA uses the story of Winston Churchill's funeral and
scriptural references to underscore the symbolic meaning of the

Trumpeter and bugler Doug Hedwig has affectionately named his new home
"Bugler's Holiday," and this specially crafted weather-vane (right) sits
proudly atop its roof. Doug says, "we are all very happy and pleased to
have this image come into view as we drive or walk up from the main road
to our log home."
